Mobile dosing and recipe scales

Requirements

A solution for the production of dough products was to be configured for a customer in the bakery industry. The individual components required for the manufacture of dough products are distributed at different positions in production. It was therefore necessary to weigh these components using external scales and feed them into the mixing vat.

A mobile solution with the option of moving the specific mixing vats and simultaneously filling them in the correct quantities at the positions of the individual components was not yet available on the market.

Solution

To solve our customer's problem, we developed a mobile version based on our Höfelmeyer drive-through scales, which enables the customer's mixing vats to be picked up and locked in place. The drive-through scale has an low drive-on height of 25 mm, as well as a foldable drive-on ramp with integrated guide for easy positioning and locking of the vats, which are used as standard in the bakery industry. The solution is rounded off by a Höfelmeyer weighing terminal with BATCH application, which guides the operator simply and intuitively through the recipe process.
