Requirement

For a customer in the shopfitting sector, we created the optimum solution for a floor scale in the incoming goods area for coil weighing. The challenge was to secure the coils from rolling away and to ensure that the scales could be moved.

The solution

The special floor scale ensures precise weighing results for the steel coils, even with a maximum load of 25 tons. The superstructures and the use of polyamide plates protect the coils from rolling away during the weighing process. The integrated forklift lugs make it easy to move the floor scale to the required location. The integration of a precise weighing application enables accurate measurements and counts, which can be transferred to the existing ERP system if required.
